Papua New Guinea!

November23

Hey everyone! I’m going to be giving you a quick report on my dad and I’s trip to the beautiful country of PNG that took place in October. This had been my dad’s third or fourth trip to PNG. This trip, however, was based around preparing the Rhema students of PNG for their final week of school before officially launching them into the world! My dad ministered in the bible school, both day and night during the week along with Pastor Nigel Darch. While my dad ministered, I helped prepare the student’s course manuals as well as help with some graduation event tasks. When both of us weren’t working, we spent time fellowshipping with the people involved in the school. It was amazing! What beautiful people they are! They’re love and trust in God as well as their desire to bring people into the kingdom was absolutely gorgeous and inspiring to see. I was also given the privilege of exploring Alotau (the town in which Rhema was situated in), eating delicious food, experiencing beautiful music and scenery, as well viewing exotic reefs while snorkeling. So in the end, the graduation ceremony was great! It was the biggest event in all of Alotau, attracting people from all over. Oh and by the way, PNG is considered a Christian nation and if any of you guys are thinking about doing some missions there, I should let you know that most of the people are in fact Christians! It was wonderful! Everywhere we went, around almost every bend and corner, did I hear the name of Jesus being sung about and preached! I’m not discouraging missions there though, for the PNG people are hungry for more and more of the gospel and have even requested that more missionaries come! It was the most wonderful place and I would be more than willing to move there if the Lord called me to! All in all, the trip was incredible! We saw God move in the lives of people and bless them as he always has done, is doing and will do in the years to come. Praise God for another opportunity to share the word of God and minister in the lives of others! Here’s some pictures of the trip…
