Tony’s Background
Tony Cameneti, together with his wife Patsy, currently bases his ministry in Brisbane Australia where they reside with their two daughters, Liliana and Annalisa. Previously, they lived for nine years in Italy and four in Singapore where they served as directors of Bible schools.
Tony’s deep desire is to go with the message of Jesus’ powerful and comprehensive redeeming work, and it has taken him to minister in over 25 countries. Living and ministering in places of diverse religions, cultures, and church backgrounds has given him an acute awareness that it is only an authentic, unedited Christianity that can transform lives.
Tony feels called and compelled to help believers find their place in Christ and under God’s mighty hand so that they can have a fruitful life that glorifies God. His message that emphasizes healing and a practical and real walk with God is both simple and doable.
Tony was raised in Warren, Ohio. His mother, Josephine, was born in Italy and immigrated to the United States when she was 10-years-old. His father, Jim, was born in Springfield, Ohio, into a family of Italian immigrants.
Tony is one of seven brothers- Jim, Joe, David, Mike, John, and Patrick. Joe currently pastors Believer’s Christian Fellowship, and Mike is the pastor of Faith Family Church.
Growing up, Tony played and sang in many bands until the age of 25. In January of 1979, he was born again. He attended RHEMA Bible Training Center and graduated in 1983. While attending RHEMA, he worked at Kenneth Hagin Ministries and RHEMA Bible Training Center (1981 to 1991). Tony also played bass for RHEMA Singers and Band and managed the group for a season, as well.
In 1989, Tony married Patsy Behrman. From 1991-1993, he began itinerating. Then on May 25, 1993, they had their first daughter, Liliana. Nineteen months later, Annalisa was born on January 10, 1995.
In 1993, Tony and Patsy began directing Bible schools. They served from 1993-1995 in Sicily and 1995-1999 in Rome. In 1999-2002, they assisted in the opening of RHEMA Italy and were Directors of RHEMA Singapore from 2002-2006. In 2006, the family relocated their ministry to Brisbane, Australia where they are the current directors of RHEMA Australia.
They also continue to minister at churches, schools, conferences, and seminars in many nations of the world.
